On Vaalleegte you can
amuse yourself with nature walks, photography of the many
diffirent species of game, birds, flowers, trees, rocks and
insects. Hunters will find the range of buck enticing.
Amongst all the other farm activities children can swim &
enjoy rides on the back of the bakkie or quad bikes. You
will see Steenbok, Duiker,
Springbok, Bontebok, Rooihartebees, Blouwildebees, Gemsbok & Zebra.
You have to experience a true Karoo night, next to a fire,
staring up at the star studded universe-umbrella - it is to
die for!
Day trips to the surrounding places of interest might keep
the whole family happy or the ones who do not feel like
waiting for the hunters. Towns like Oudtshoorn, Prince
Albert, & Sutherland offer a wide variety of interesting
sites and things to do.
